The Craft Group

The Craft Group meet on the last Tuesday of the month at 2pm. The ladies either take one of their current work in progress projects with them and have a natter and a cup of tea and cake or they arrange to bring something they have made before and show the group how to make it giving them the opportunity to try things they might not have tried before.

Our Craft Group also decorate a tree every year on behalf of the Village People (Alverstoke) WI at the Alverstoke Christmas Tree Festival, all their decorations are homemade and they are made from scratch every year. Never two years with the same decorations. January 2020 the Craft Group asked our members to bring along their Christmas cards so they could recycle them. They made some lovely baubles with them but they couldn't display them at the Christmas Tree Festival in St Marys until December 2022 because of Covid restrictions.
