April WI meeting

Whenat 7:30pm on Thursday, 4th April
Whereat Hatch Warren Community Centre

We will be welcoming Heather Wylde whose Tiger-drawing workshops are great fun and very popular. Everyone can have a go whether or not they believe they can draw - see what you can achieve in an evening!

What you need to know:

Bring some cash (for raffle tickets, £1 per ticket; for refreshments, 50p donation suggested). Our speaker will also have some of her artwork and items for sale.

On arrival: Take your name badge and sign in on the name sheet provided. Please remember to hand in your name badge at the end of the evening.

WI Resolution: Over 95,000 individual selections were cast by WI members in this year’s resolution selection, with the most popular being “Dental Health Matters”. This will be discussed at the WI’s National Annual Meeting; this month we, as a WI, need to decide whether to vote for or against this resolution, or to ask our delegate to use her own discretion on the day. For more details, log into MyWI (WI members only) and go to ‘Public Affairs and campaigns > Resolutions’.

During the meeting: Please avoid talking during the WI Business part of the meeting; background voices can be very distracting and many of us don’t hear as well as we used to!
