March WI meeting : The Blood Runners

The Service by Emergency Response Volunteers (SERV) charity, also known as "The Blood Runners"  provides emergency courier services, taking blood products, samples and medications to where they are urgently needed.  It's a much-needed service that relies entirely on donations and volunteers.

We will be joined at our March meeting by Steve Nicholson, the Talks Coordinator for SERV Wessex (who is hoping to bring along one of the Blood Bikes) when he comes to tell us about what they do and why it's so important.

We meet on the 1st Thursday of every month, at Hatch Warren Community Centre. Meetings start at 7:30pm and usually finish by 9:30pm.
